I’ve noticed over the years that the more involved I am in my crossdressing, that is getting all the little woman-like details sorted out, the more I’ve come to appreciate it even more. There use to be a point in my life where I thought it was a curse (well, many points actually) but when I came upon the realization it will never go away, I guess I thought, What the hell, I might as well enjoy it while I’m alive.
The truth is I actually feel like it’s WAY more fun immersing myself in my own feminine world. Trying that new lipstick color, searching for those perfect heels (still), finding out my perfect wig color is dirty blonde or just enjoying that feeling of being all dolled up. I haven’t even gotten into the sexual kink out of it all either which, I might add, is also pretty awesome at this stage of the game.
Anyway, here is my list of things that enjoy most about crossdressing (in no particular order)…
It’s difficult to describe that feeling when I’m completely transformed into miss me. It is kind of a warmth all over sexiness knowing this could be dangerous. Maybe it is the combination of noticing the tightness of that miniskirt or that sweet smell of Chanel that also heightens and arouses the senses to an unbelievable degree. In any case, I like this and don’t want it to stop.
I hear and read about it all the time how crossdressing is used an escape from your real self and I can say that it is true. Life is hard and we all have our ups and downs, especially me, but getting into our alter-selves does really separate myself from the real world, even if just for a moment. It is honestly the only thing to make me forget about those Zoom meetings at work coming up in the next couple of hours. Um, yeah sorry, it looks like I’m having trouble with my camera here…
A little over five years ago, I bought my first perfume seemingly for the novelty of trying to be the sweet smelling woman. It was a nice scent, Escada Desire Me, and on sale for half off. Basically it was a half-ass trial at incorporating another new dimension to my crossdressing routine. Since then, every now and then I would dab some on, then forget about it not really remembering that I have it on. Then I would annoyingly have to remember to wash it off as best I can when going out in public.
(Side note, I did get a comment on my “deodorant” when I forgot to do this one time.)
Basically perfume had never really done anything for me. Fast forward to this year and that has changed completely which also happened to coincide with my crossdressing evolution. When paired up with going the full gamut dressing up (yes including the wig and the hour spent on makeup), perfume becomes the icing on the cake and completes stimulating all the senses. And once you stimulate all the senses, you have a moment you can never forget.
This is how I view my own sensual stimulation:
Sight – Looking at myself in a mirror, taking a photo (duh)
Sound – That noise when you rub pantyhosed legs together
Taste – That vanilla-like flavor from a good lipstick
Touch – This could be a number of things, ahem, pick one
Smell – Perfume
I have no idea why it’s taken so long to discover but perfume has suddenly become a weapon of choice when I transform to my womanly self. Maybe it is because I always believed that if it can’t be seen then it can’t be sexy. WRONG!
So there I was one day browsing the usual close-out sales in February and came across one of those Christmas gift packages for sale. You know, the kind that comes with perfume, maybe some moisturizer and then some kind of special box or case to stuff them in. Well, my choice of the moment happened to be some Desire Me by Escada with body moisturizer and a cute little satin “vanity” case… at half off.
What the hell, right? I finally bought my first perfume ever, sight unsmelled.
Honestly, I did it more out of a necessity than a curiosity. I mean I have a ton a sexy lingerie, pantyhose, a couple skirts and dresses, makeup, wigs, etc. Yet I have never even given a single thought to masking up my manly scent with something other than deodorant. Really, what gives there?
Side note, I do use Secret deodorant which is strong enough for a man, woman or the everyday crossdresser alike.
So the day comes when it arrives in the mail. I open the box containing the black satin vanity case and admire it. OK, it’s cute, kind of like a purse without the strap. Next, I open it and pull out the moisturizer first then dab a little on my hands and apply some to my chest. I quite like it actually even though it is just everyday lotion with a great smell attached. I think I’ll save this, though, for those times with the sweaty balls just after some exercise where it will come in handy the most.
